The Nile Institute of Economic Studies serves as a politically independent, non-profit promoter of free-market economic and social policies in Khartoum, Sudan. The Institute aims to function as an academic and as a policy research center. The Institute looks to contribute to solving the economic and social challenges faced in Sudan, as well as to address the concerns of the Sudanese and international community regarding Sudan’s role and situation as a developing nation-state. We hope to achieve this by providing substantial research in the area of economic policies and by promoting free-society principles including but not limited to free-trade, individual liberty, rule of law, limited government, free-markets and private property rights.
